It finally happened...
Yah!!!! Mac finally pooped in the potty!!! I know that this has to be the most random post for those of you who do not have children, but for those of you who do, I know you celebrate with me!!! We are slowly but surely getting there and Mac was so proud of himself!!! He kept saying, "I so proud of you!!!!" Yah Macabee!!!!
Such a nice visit!!!!!!!!!!!
e We had a wonderful day visit from our Aunt Anda, Paul and Nancy!!! AND they brought PRESENTS!!! Yah!! We love presents!! Paul and Nancy live near Folkston GA (we're speaking railroad and train talk for those of you who aren't aware!!) and got us some goodies from there!! We also got a super duper cool Doug and Melissa puzzle, our favorite!!! Mac was THRILLED with his new conductor hat and train whistle. He refuses to take the hat off and I honestly have never ever been able to get him to wear a hat. Even Lily Kate loved to wear hers and never tried to take it off!! We had lunch out and got to play and visit but wish it could have lasted longer! For dinner we met Mimi and thoroughly enjoyed our short visit with her. She got to hear all about school and we sang songs for her! We can't wait to see everybody again soon!!

First Day of School!!!
School today, school today Mac & Lily Kate have school today! Time to run and jump and play! Yah!! Mac & Lily Kate have school today!!! Silly I know, but this is the song I sing to the kids on the mornings that they have school and they love it. Today was our first day back to school and the kids did WONDERFUL. They went right on in like they owned the joint. I got some great pics. We walked in with William who is in Mac's class this year and got to pose with him for photos. It was so good to be back in the routine and the kids had a great great day! Note the excellent picture I got of Mac with his teacher, Ms. Terri!! Both of my babies are classmates with both of the Myers boys, Jahnz and Barnwell. I got pictures of all of them and we are so excited to be learning and playing with our friends!!

SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!
I think I am about to rip my eyes out!! I need a "me" day, i.e. no kids. I am struggling here; I don't even have the energy to clean or get some organization done. I have napped the last two or three days when the kids have napped, my throat is getting sore and my head is throbbing. My son is melting down everytime I say "no" and I have a house to clean, school supplies to buy, painting to finish, etc., etc. I need my husband here, but since that isn't an option I guess I'll just have to deal. Okay, I'm done.

Weekend....
Okay so our weekends around here are pretty dull. We go so hard Monday thru Friday that it's all we can do to get out of our jammies on the weekend. However on Saturday, Mommy made a concerted effort to do so. She dressed everyone after breakfast and headed to town to check out the Summerville farmers market. After the whole five minutes it took to check it out I headed to the Pink Crocodile for a little purchase I'd been eyeing. Then we needed a diaper change and lunch was looming, so back to the car we headed. As I was in the car doing diaper duty, I notice we were without Lily Kate's lovie. What?? I look everywhere and then strap us all in to backtrack. No lovey anywhere. Miss Kay doesn't even recall us coming in with it!!! Since I can't drive down the street where the farmer's market booths are, and it is so stinkin' hot, I have about 5.2 seconds to make a decision about what to do. Back to the Pink Crocodile for yet another purchase. I can't believe that I have had to purchase another lovie; in all my days....even Mac still has his original!!! To top it off, they don't even have her exact one and unless I want to go all the way to MP.....nope, not doin' it. So, we head to lunch, then home where naps were a disaster (afterall, she wasn't used to this thing that was supposed to be her lovie), so then I let the kids play in the sprinklers. Such an uneventful day really. Sunday, I didn't make it out of my pj's all day and the kids just had diapers and t-shirts on. What a lazy day!!!! It was perfect!!!! Topping it off, we had breakfast for supper and the kids lapped it up!! Ready for another week!!!!
